The Lightbox - 156 Luxury Apartments, Sheffield
Our subcontract works comprised the supply & installation of the infill SFS system to the external envelope, all internal partitions and ceilings and plastering works in this flagship apartment building in central Sheffield.
Working closely with the client and their architect we proposed a number of value engineering solutions, many of which were adopted by the client in order to bring the project in under budget.
Citigarden – 54 bedroom Hotel, Leeds
Our subcontract works comprised the installation of the external cladding system, SFS and all internal partitions and ceilings on this 54 bedroom luxury hotel development on the outskirts of Leeds city centre.
The project offered a number of challenges, not least of which was working in and around an existing, occupied apartment building, meaning that additional environmental, health and safety precautions needed to be implemented.
Leeds United Football Club - East Stand, Elland Road Stadium
Working closely with main contractor Caddick Construction, architect KSS Group and render manufacturer Weber UK, our expertise in both rendering systems and SFS lightweight steel construction was called upon to carry out the complex work involved in creating the curved facade of Leeds United’s east stand at Elland Road. We built the frame of the curved facade using lightweight SFS and then successfully installed the Weber.therm XM insulated render system to create a modern visual appeal to the iconic Elland Road Stadium.
We recently attended the stadium to re-paint the curved facade with Weber.sil-P to keep the stand looking fresh and up to date.
Woverhampton Wanderers Football Club - Sir Jack Hayward Training Facility
As an approved applicator for Sto render products, we were tasked with supplying and installing Sto Ventec carrier boards to the building frame and then rendering these with Sto Armat Classic fully reinforced base coat and Sto Silco 1.5mm silicone resin render, all finished in the club colours of Wolves FC.
Domestic Property - Kent Road, Harrogate
At D&R we also carry out work for domestic clients, like this re-render to an existing property in Harrogate. The exterior of this family home was transformed by the application of Weber.pral-M through coloured render in light beige, rejuvenating and modernising the property yet still being sympathetic to it’s original features and surroundings.
